Fiona has been running the point since she arrived to Brewster her sophomore year, and she leads with an up tempo pace and an aggressive style of play. She has led the team in assists per game since her sophomore year, and as a senior leads in total points and assists and is second in rebounding. Due to an abbreviated junior season, she will finish just shy of reaching her 1,000th point. Fiona will be joining the La Salle Explorers next year in Philadelphia, PA.

Morgan is the player who has the ability to single-handedly alter a game, as witnessed in the championship game of the Peddie tournament when she hit five 3's in the span of ten minutes of play to help lead her team to a come from behind victory. With her relentless defense, anticipation and speed, she can have the same impact on the other end of the court. Morgan leads the team in steals, almost doubling that of any of her teammates.

Team leader in almost every statistical category, averaged a double-double as our point guard and shot 80% from the free throw line and just under 60% from the field (2-point attempts). Fanta is an exceptional floor leader and creative passer - able to make the 3/4 court pinpoint pass and unusual ability to find the open player; incredibly competitive athlete who makes those around her better; able to breakdown almost any defense off the dribble; aggressive defender and explosive athlete who can guard opposing team's 1-4 positions; aware and mature teammate; great instincts and very high basketball IQ; two-sport Varsity athlete at Cushing.

Amalyah had an excellent freshman year. She started every game, and led the team in scoring at 11.8, assists at 4.6, and steals at 4.2. She was excellent on both ends of the court and showed poise beyond her age in crucial moments during many games. She is a great leaders and her teammates gravitate towards her, the future at Gann is bright with Amalyah pacing the backcourt.

Rachel Storey is a major contributor on both ends of the court. With a versatile inside/outside offensive game, Rachel scored her 1,000 Varsity point this year. Defensively, Rachel is quick, long, and tough and often found herself matched against our opponents top players. Furthermore, Rachel is a leader in our community and in her classrooms. Rachel will be heading to Maine next year to study and play at Bowdoin College.

Shyla Montgomery is one of the most hardworking student-athletes you will ever encounter. Her love for the game is unmeasurable, and you can see it when she is on the court. As a PG at Kimball Union, Shyla was an All-star for our team. Her discipline and leadership brought much success to the 2021-2022 season, leading the Wildcats to the Semi-finals for the first time in 7 years. Shyla's love for the game goes beyond the court when she proudly asks to wear Equality shirts all season to continue recognizing the inequality experienced by black people. She is one of a kind and forever would be remembered for her contribution to the game.

As elite as her game is, her intangibles and toughness set her apart.

Her passion to compete and commitment to high standards helped to propel the Millbrook Mustangs to a NEPSAC tournament appearance this year.
