Getting to the Capozzoli Athletic Center

Please do NOT put in "Worcester Academy" into your GPS, as that will bring you to our main campus.

When student-athletes & NEPSAC coaches arrive. . .

Team buses and parents/guardians can drop off all student-athletes off at the Capozzoli Athletic Center at 121 Providence St, Worcester MA.  Team buses, parents & student-athletes must park at “Lot B” across the street.  

Student-athletes & NEPSAC coaches must enter through the main entrance to the Capozzoli Athletic Center (first floor entrance).

NEPSAC coaches & student-athletes must check in at the front table on the first floor upon entering the building.  All NEPSAC student-athletes must stay on the first floor.  Bathrooms, water fountains & the basketball courts will all be visible in the main lobby.

Please note that parents, AAU & club coaches, and non-credentialed media members will not be permitted inside the Capozzoli Athletic Center for the duration of the showcase.

Worcester Academy is centrally located in Worcester, Massachusetts, with convenient access from several major airports and highways. Whether traveling by air or car, the campus is easily accessible from across NEPSAC.

Nearest Airport:

• Worcester Regional Airport (ORH) – approximately 10–15 minutes from campus

  • Located just 3–5 miles from downtown Worcester

  • Offers daily service via major carriers including JetBlue, American, and Delta

Other Nearby Airports:

• Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) – ~50 miles (approx. 1 hour drive)

• TF Green Airport (PVD – Providence, RI) – ~50 miles (approx. 1 hour drive)

• Hartford Bradley International Airport (BDL) – ~1 hour drive

🚗 By Car

Worcester is accessible via several major highways, making it an easy drive from most schools:

• From Boston (East): I-90 West (Mass Pike) to I-290 West

• From New York / Connecticut (South): I-84 to I-90 East or I-395 North

• From Providence (South/East): Route 146 North

• From New Hampshire (North): I-495 South to I-290 West

On-site parking is available and will be clearly marked for the showcase

**If your GPS says you’ve arrived and you’re staring at a historic building on a hill, you’re at the main campus. Keep going to the athletic center at 121 Providence St.**

🚆 By Train

Worcester Academy is served by the T, making it a great option for those coming from the Boston metro area. 

• Take the Commuter Rail (Framingham/Worcester Line) directly into Worcester to Union Station (final stop) approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from South Station

• From Union Station to the Capozzoli Athletic Center is about a 10-minute drive via Uber/Lyft/taxi
