#15 Payton Richard

Payton is a natural leader and student of the game. As a senior captain, Payton's selflessness has been reflected in her game and her ability to lead her team by example, modeling what it looks like to be a positive and encouraging teammate and hardworking student-athlete. She averages 12 ppg but her game is not only limited to scoring. Payton stretches the floor out being one of the most consistent shooters in the league but also uses her drive to pressure the defense for additional scoring opportunities. She uses her length as a strength on the defensive end to get blocks, steals and second chance opportunities for herself and the team. She is a consistent contributor that controls the floor with her voice, play making abilities and leadership, making her one of the most well rounded players. Payton will go off to compete collegiately at the University of Richmond next fall.
