#24 Amalyah McCoy

Amalyah is a Junior and a 3-year starter on the varsity team. She is as 3-time NEPSAC all-star and is a 3-time IGC All-League selection as well. She is Gann's main scorer and ball handler, as well as our most impactful defender. Amalyah leads the team in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals and free throw percentage. Defensively, she wreaks havoc with relentless ball pressure and quick hands. She has averaged 4 steals a game this year and does an amazing job rebounding from the guard position. Amalyah has a great attitude and while she is competitive, she is always respectful to opposing players, coaches and officials. She exemplifies what it means to be a Gann student athlete, excelling both on the court and in the classroom.
