#1 Valerie Ha

Valerie Ha is the heart and soul of the Phillips Academy Andover team. As a senior captain, Valerie led the team to wins in 9 of its last 12 games, helping Andover’s team secure a playoff spot in the NEPSAC Class A playoffs. Val, as she’s known by her teammates and coaches, epitomizes the definition of hard work and dedication. As a four year member of the varsity team, Val consistently sets the tone in practice by holding herself and her teammates to a high standard, never settling for less than her best. It’s hard to miss Val as she is one of the quickest players on the floor in any given game, finding ways to sneak through the defense and never shying away from guarding the opposing team’s best player. Valerie is the leading rebounding guard on Andover’s team this season. Val’s leadership and team first spirit will be missed deeply next season. Congratulations to Valerie Ha ’24 for her Class A All Star selection! She has no doubt made Andover proud.
